Job Description:

A rewarding opportunity awaits a Sr. Pharmacist at a respected healthcare facility in Portland, OR. Engage in a variable shift role requiring flexibility, including weekend coverage. This role in the pharmacy specialty offers the chance to work in a pivotal position where Epic experience is an advantage, and board certification is preferred though not mandatory.

Job Responsibility:

Interpret and process physician orders
Ensure the accurate dispensation of medications
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
Maintain compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations

Requirements:

Graduate of a school of pharmacy (Required)
Two years of technical experience (Preferred)
Two years of experience as a clinical pharmacist specializing in a regulatory area (Preferred)
One year of hospital pharmacy experience (Preferred)
Epic experience is advantageous
Strong understanding of pharmaceutical standards and regulations
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to adapt to a flexible work schedule
Proficiency in Epic EMR system preferred
Board certification (BCPS) is an asset but not required
