Join our dynamic inpatient pharmacy team as a locum tenens pharmacist in a hospital setting. This role is essential for ensuring medication safety and efficacy for a diverse patient population ranging from newborns to geriatric individuals, including those with medical and behavioral health needs. The position involves rotating day and evening shifts, providing a balanced work schedule.

Job Responsibility

  • Review and interpret medication orders to ensure safety and efficacy
  • Provide oversight of pharmacy technician work, including medication dispensing and IV compounding
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient care

Requirements

  • Minimum 1-2 years of inpatient hospital pharmacy experience
  • Pharmacy degree required
  • Valid MA Pharmacist License
  • Familiarity with Epic and Omnicell systems
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to review and interpret medication orders effectively
  • Aptitude for working in a team-oriented environment
  • Proficiency with healthcare technology systems like Epic and Omnicell
