Job Description:

Join a dynamic healthcare team in a hospital setting as a pharmacist, where you will play a vital role in patient care and safety. You will be responsible for comprehensive pharmaceutical services, including drug dispensing, monitoring, and patient counseling. Job Responsibility:

  • Maintain adequate drug supply and oversee procurement processes
  • Prepare and dispense medications accurately and in compliance with state laws
  • Conduct monthly inspections of pharmacy and patient care units
  • Provide educational programs and trainings for pharmacy staff
  • Execute medication reconciliation for discharge medication lists
  • Participate in quality assurance programs related to drug use

Requirements:

  • Successful completion of all educational requirements for state licensure
  • Current state licensure as a pharmacist
  • BLS certification if required by state
  • EPIC experience
  • Minimum of two years of recent hospital experience
