Job Description:

The Pharmacy Operations Manager is responsible for leading and supporting the end-to-end execution of pharmacy benefit operations, with a focus on client implementations, PBM integrations, and issue resolution. This role bridges strategy and operations—ensuring smooth onboarding for clients, resolving member concerns, and driving continuous improvement in pharmacy processes. The ideal candidate is a skilled project manager with a deep understanding of pharmacy benefits, strong cross-functional collaboration skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality service in a fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibility:

Leading and supporting the end-to-end execution of pharmacy benefit operations
Focusing on client implementations, PBM integrations, and issue resolution
Bridging strategy and operations
Ensuring smooth onboarding for clients
Resolving member concerns
Driving continuous improvement in pharmacy processes

Requirements:

5+ years of project management experience, ideally in a healthcare, clinical, or payer setting
5+ years of experience working with integrated delivery networks
3+ years of hands-on experience with pharmacy benefit implementations
Strong understanding of HIPAA-compliant data standards and transactions
Proven ability to manage operational initiatives from ideation to execution
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and MS Project

Nice to have:

Previous experience in the PBM or pharmacy benefit space
Experience building workflows and project structures from the ground up
Strong communication skills with the ability to tailor messaging to various audiences
Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence outcomes
Capable of presenting project status, risks, and recommendations to executive stakeholders
Pharmacy Technician certification is a plus, but not required
