Job Description

The Medication Assistance Liaison acts as a liaison between the patient and organization or manufacturer while supporting the organization objectives of quality customer service. The medication assistance liaison focuses on free drug enrollments and applications, copay assistance and/or prior authorizations in addition to any medication assistance needs. Additionally, this role coordinates care to ensure completion of all activities assigned and conducts necessary research to determine eligibility for various programs and benefits. The reimbursement specialist I may need to analyze reports or queues to assess each patient for eligibility. Additionally, this role may work closely with pharmaceutical manufacturers and vendor representatives for continuous customer service and follow up.
