Job Description:

As a Pharmacy Manager at CVS Health, you will lead a pharmacy team to deliver exceptional patient care, improve access, lower costs, and enhance customer experience while ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory guidelines.

Job Responsibility:

Living our purpose by helping to manage and improve patient health
Overseeing the pharmacy team during bench shifts
Supporting safe and accurate prescription fulfillment
Contributing to positive patient experiences
Proactively offering and delivering immunizations
Supporting pharmacy inventory management
Conducting new technician and pharmacist onboarding
Ensuring full compliance with state Board of Pharmacy regulations
Partnering with the Store Manager to maintain a talent pipeline
Overseeing Staff Pharmacists and District Support Pharmacists
Writing or overseeing the pharmacy schedule
Regularly reviewing business reporting for operational insights
Establishing a culture of safety and inclusion
Maintaining relevant clinical and technical skills
Supporting access to care through pharmacist-delivered clinical care
Complying with federal and state laws, regulations, professional standards, and ethical principles

Requirements:

Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located
Active National Provider Identifier (NPI)
Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list
1-2 years of experience as a Pharmacist

Nice to have:

Completion of the CVS Pharmacy Manager Emerging Leader (PM-EL) program
3-5 years of related work experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
