Job Description:

The Pharmacy Manager at CVS Health is responsible for directing and developing a pharmacy team to provide exceptional patient care. The role includes coaching team members, ensuring compliance with regulations, managing inventory, and enhancing the overall patient experience.

Job Responsibility:

Managing and improving patient health through dispensing, counseling, and immunizing
Overseeing pharmacy team during bench shifts
Strengthening performance measures through coaching and follow-up
Ensuring safe and accurate prescription fulfillment
Enhancing patient experiences with genuine care and resolving issues
Offering and delivering immunizations
Managing pharmacy inventory
Conducting onboarding for Technicians and Pharmacists
Ensuring compliance with Board of Pharmacy regulations
Partnering with the Store Manager for talent pipeline development
Managing performance of Staff Pharmacists and District Support Pharmacists
Delivering annual performance reviews
Writing or delegating the writing of schedules
Developing action plans from business reporting insights
Building a culture of safety, empowerment, and inclusion
Expanding technical and clinical skills
Supporting pharmacist-delivered clinical care
Complying with federal and state laws, regulations, ethical principles, and CVS Health policies and procedures.

Requirements:

Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located
Active National Provider Identifier (NPI)
Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list
1-2 years of experience as a Pharmacist
Completion of required training within designated timeframe
Ability to concentrate on a task over a period of time
Ability to pivot quickly from one task to another to meet patient and business needs
Ability to confirm prescription information and label accuracy
Customer service and team orientation
Verbal and written communication skills
Mathematical reasoning
Problem resolution skills
Mobility for extended periods of time
Ability to lift, scan, and bag items
Visual acuity for transcription and inspection

Nice to have:

Completion of the CVS Pharmacy Manager Emerging Leader (PM-EL) program
3-5 years of related work experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
Ability to work across the market in other locations to meet business needs
