  • Support the recruitment, onboarding and training of new pharmacy staff to ensure a smooth integration
  • Accountable for pharmacy security, including responding in person to emergency call-outs outside normal hours and key holding responsibilities following probation
  • Responsible for pharmacy operations inventory control to minimise both discrepancies and loss prevention
  • Collaborate with Superintendent Pharmacist, Operations Director and Head of Quality/Responsible Person to ensure all regulatory risks within the pharmacy environment are identified, managed and removed
  • Maintain accurate records of pharmacy transactions, prescriptions and regulatory documentation

  • Previous experience working in a GDP-compliant environment, ensuring medicines are stored, handled, and distributed in accordance with MHRA and EU GDP guidelines
  • Proven leadership experience, including line management of pharmacists and dispensary teams
  • Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent attention to detail with ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software packages
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills
