Job Description

Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy department. Ensure compliance with all legal and professional requirements related to pharmacy operations. Deliver exceptional customer service, offering advice and support on healthcare products and services. Supervise and support the pharmacy team, ensuring professional development and high performance. Maintain accurate records and ensure the safe and effective dispensing of medications. Collaborate with other departments within the store to enhance the overall customer experience. Monitor and manage stock levels to ensure availability of essential products. Drive sales and profitability while maintaining the highest standards of care.

Job Responsibility

Requirements

  • A recognised qualification as a pharmacist and registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
  • Proven experience in managing or supervising a pharmacy team
  • Strong knowledge of retail pharmacy operations and healthcare regulations
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making
  • The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail environment
