Job Responsibility

  • Leading and directing Pharmacy Staff
  • Managing, overseeing and operating all aspects within your pharmacy including Patient Safety, Pharmacy Professional Practice, Regulatory Requirements, Quality Assurance, Customer Service, Personnel Management, Inventory Management, Financial Profitability, Loss Prevention, Workflow Management
  • Keeping customers and patients healthy through adoption and management of patient care programs
  • Leading with Heart - displaying empathy and compassion
  • Motivating, inspiring and developing Pharmacy Support Staff
  • Identifying critical business opportunities and meaningful solutions
  • Implementing solutions by leading team to achieve specified goals
  • Adapting to change

Requirements

  • Active Pharmacy License in the state in which you are employed
  • Not on the DEA Excluded Parties List
  • Immunization Certification through an accredited organization (i.e. APhA)
  • Listed on the pharmacy state license as the 'pharmacist in charge'
  • Submission of required information/documents to your state PMP administrator to register for PMP access (in states with active PMP for pharmacist use)
  • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm. D. degree

  • Conducting new Technician and Pharmacist onboarding for the store and district, including training on CVS workflow, and ensuring all trainees are on-track for timely completion of required training and/or licensure
  • Ensuring pharmacy operations are fully compliant with state Board of Pharmacy regulations at all times
  • escalating issues or concerns to the Rx DL for additional support if/as needed
