Job Description:

Pharmacy Manager role at CVS Health, requiring leadership of a pharmacy team, dedication to patient care, adherence to compliance regulations, and cultivation of a positive team culture.

Job Responsibility:

Living our purpose by helping to manage and improve patient health through dispensing, counseling, and immunizing practices
Overseeing the pharmacy team during bench shifts
Strengthening pharmacy performance measures through effective coaching
Supporting safe and accurate prescription fulfillment
Demonstrating compassionate care and resolving insurance or medication issues
Proactively offering and delivering immunizations
Managing pharmacy inventory
Conducting onboarding and training for new technicians and pharmacists
Ensuring compliance with state Board of Pharmacy regulations
Partnering with the Store Manager to cross-train colleagues
Managing performance of Staff Pharmacists
Overseeing scheduling
Reviewing business reports and operational insights
Building a positive team culture
Complying with all relevant laws and guidelines
Supporting patient outcomes through pharmacist-delivered clinical care

Requirements:

Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located
Active National Provider Identifier (NPI)
Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list
1-2 years of experience as a Pharmacist
Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe
Ability to confirm prescription information and label accuracy
Ability to use math to solve a problem
Customer Service and Team Orientation
Communication Skills
Problem Resolution
Physical Demands such as lifting, scanning, bagging items and mobility for extended periods

Nice to have:

Completion of the CVS Pharmacy Manager Emerging Leader (PM-EL) program
3-5 years of related work experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
