Job Description:

As a 3rd year pharmacy intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist, ensuring a safe and effective Retail Pharmacy work environment and delivering exceptional care to patients. Responsibilities include pharmacy professional practice, regulatory compliance, quality assurance, customer service, inventory management, and workflow management. The role emphasizes leading with empathy and collaboration to achieve better health outcomes for customers and patients.

Requirements:

Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
0-3 years relevant work experience
Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
Strong communication and presentation skills
Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe
Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
Be mobile and remain upright for extended periods of time
Lift, scan, and bag items
Picking, pinching, typing or otherwise working primarily with fingers
Stretch or reach out with body, arms, or legs to grasp items
Adjust machines with exact precision
Bend spine at the waist
Close visual acuity for tasks like transcribing and reading
Orally communicate information and instructions
Lift up to 20 lbs occasionally

Nice to have:

Immunization eligibility
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
Providing patient immunizations once state regulations are met
