Job Description:

As a 3rd year pharmacy intern at CVS Health, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to deliver patient-centric care in a safe and effective retail pharmacy environment. Your role includes patient safety, professional pharmacy practice, regulatory requirements, quality assurance, inventory management, workflow management, and customer service. You will also lead with empathy, engage in patient care programs, and facilitate a collaborative and enthusiastic team culture.

Requirements:

Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
0-3 years relevant work experience
Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
Strong communication and presentation skills
Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe
Ability to have regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
Ability to be mobile and remain upright for extended periods of time
Ability to lift, scan, and bag items
Finger dexterity: Picking, pinching, typing or otherwise working primarily with fingers rather than whole hand or arm
Ability to reach overhead, stretch or reach out with the body, arms, and/or legs
Precision control for machine adjustments
Ability to stoop requiring full use of lower extremities and back muscles
Visual acuity for close vision tasks like transcribing or computer terminal use
Oral communication skills
Occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
