Job Description:

As a 3rd year pharmacy intern at CVS Health, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist and play a crucial role in ensuring a safe and effective retail pharmacy environment. Key responsibilities include ensuring patient safety, regulatory compliance, quality assurance, customer service, and inventory/workflow management. Additionally, pharmacy interns engage in patient care programs and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement with the aim of transforming healthcare.

Requirements:

Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
0-3 years relevant work experience
Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
Strong communication and presentation skills
Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe
Ability to have regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
Ability to be mobile and remain upright for extended periods of time
Ability to lift, scan, and bag items
Ability to perform tasks requiring finger dexterity, reach, precision control, stooping, visual acuity, and oral communication
Occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs
exerting up to 20 lbs. of force occasionally and/or 10 lbs. frequently or a negligible amount constantly.

Nice to have:

Immunization eligibility
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
Willingness to provide patient immunizations (once state regulations are met).
