Job Description:

As a 3rd year pharmacy intern at CVS Health, you will work under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist and contribute to ensuring a safe and effective retail pharmacy environment. Your role will focus on enhancing patient care, ensuring regulatory compliance, and contributing to the company's mission of improving health care. Key responsibilities include providing exceptional customer service, managing inventory, and maintaining quality assurance while developing the skills necessary for a successful pharmacy career.

Requirements:

  • Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
  • 0-3 years relevant work experience
  • Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe
  • Ability to have regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
  • Ability to be mobile and remain upright for extended periods of time
  • Ability to lift, scan, and bag items
  • Ability to manipulate objects with finger dexterity
  • Ability to reach overhead
  • Ability to extend hand(s) and arm(s) to move items
  • Precision control for adjusting machines to exact positions
  • Ability to bend spine and stoop to move items
  • Visual acuity for close work, such as reading and transcribing
  • Ability to orally communicate instructions to colleagues and customers
  • Occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
