Job Description:

3rd year Pharmacy Intern role focused on transforming health care for customers. Position involves supporting pharmacy teams to deliver on brand promise while developing skills in preparation for increasing responsibility. Includes comprehensive training roadmap with hands-on experience in various pharmacy operations.

Job Responsibility:

Apply didactic learning from pharmacy school into real-world practice
Complete comprehensive training roadmap with Key Learning Experiences
Assist pharmacy team to ensure smooth operations
Fill prescriptions promptly, safely, and accurately
Provide caring service that exceeds patient expectations
Operate according to Standard Operating Procedures
Demonstrate empathy and genuine care
Contribute to safe and inclusive culture
Support immunizations where permissible
Educate patients about vaccines
Monitor for adverse reactions
Complete inventory activities

Requirements:

Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe
Attention and focus ability
Customer service and team orientation
Communication skills
Mathematical reasoning
Problem resolution
Physical demands including mobility, lifting, and visual acuity

Nice to have:

1+ years of related work experience in pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
Ability to become immunization certified
Ability to work in home store and across the market in other locations
Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
