Job Description:

As a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern, you will gain real-world experience in pharmacy operations, assist with prescription fulfillment, contribute to positive patient experiences, and learn to prepare for increasing responsibilities in a Pharmacist role. You will complete a comprehensive training roadmap, grow clinically and technically, and be part of CVS Health’s vision to transform healthcare.

Job Responsibility:

Living our purpose by following all company SOPs
Following pharmacy workflow procedures
Contributing to positive patient experiences
Offering to counsel and fielding medical questions under supervision
Taking telephonic prescriptions and clarifying with prescribers
Completing basic inventory activities
Remaining flexible for scheduling and business needs
Maintaining compliance with laws and regulations
Delivering patient health care services like immunizations

Requirements:

Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required

Nice to have:

1+ years of related work experience in pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
Ability to become immunization certified
Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
