Job Description:

This role involves supporting pharmacy operations, providing patient care, and gaining hands-on experience while preparing to transition into a pharmacist role. Responsibilities include prescription management, communication with patients and prescribers, and contributing to healthcare solutions.

Job Responsibility:

Living our purpose by following all company SOPs at each workstation to help our Pharmacists and Technicians manage and improve patient health
following pharmacy workflow procedures at each pharmacy workstation for safe and accurate prescription fulfillment
contributing to positive patient experiences by showing empathy and genuine care
offering to counsel and soliciting information on a patient’s medical history to provide optimal care under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist
taking telephonic prescriptions and providing support under state regulations
completing basic inventory activities such as putting away medication deliveries, completing cycle counts, etc.
contributing to a high-performing team through receptiveness to feedback and actively seeking opportunities to expand knowledge
remaining flexible for scheduling and business needs while maintaining a safe and engaging team dynamic
understanding and complying with all relevant laws, regulations, professional standards, and ethical principles
delivering additional patient health care services (e.g., immunizations, point-of-care testing, and staffing offsite clinics) when allowable by law

Requirements:

Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required

Nice to have:

1+ years of related work experience in pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
ability to become immunization certified
ability to work in home store and across the market in other locations
proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
