Job Description:

As a pharmacy intern at CVS Health, you will work as part of a pharmacy team under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Key duties include patient safety, professional pharmacy practice, quality assurance, customer service, inventory management, workflow management, and adoption of patient care programs. You will also work on facilitating a positive team culture and identifying opportunities for growth and performance improvement.

Requirements:

PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program prior to beginning Post-Graduate Training Program at CVS Health
0-3 years prior relevant work experience
Must possess or be in process of obtaining a valid Pharmacist intern and/or technician licensure as required by state BOP
Strong verbal, non-verbal and written communication skills
Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe
Ability to have regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
Be mobile and remain upright for extended periods of time
Lift, scan, and bag items
Finger dexterity
Reach overhead
Extend hand(s) and arm(s) multiple directions
Precision control
Stoop to a considerable degree
Close visual acuity
Oral communication
Occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs
Exerting up to 20 lbs. of force occasionally and up to 10 lbs. frequently

Nice to have:

Immunization eligibility
3-5 years prior relevant work experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
