Job Description:

Graduate pharmacist intern role working as part of the pharmacy team to deliver purpose, model values, and demonstrate genuine care for patients. Immersed in a culture of continuous improvement with goal of changing health care for better.

Patient Safety
Pharmacy Professional Practice
Regulatory Requirements
Quality Assurance
Customer Service
Inventory Management
Workflow Management excluding final prescription verification
Lead with Heart – display empathy and compassion
Support Pharmacy manager in motivating and developing Pharmacy Support Staff
Identify critical business opportunities and meaningful solutions
Adapt to change in dynamic community healthcare setting
Facilitate team culture promoting caring, energy, enthusiasm, and pride

Requirements:

PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program prior to beginning Post-Graduate Training Program at CVS Health
Must possess or be in process of obtaining a valid Pharmacist intern and/or technician licensure as required by state BOP
Strong verbal, non-verbal and written communication skills
Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe
Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
Physical abilities: mobile and remain upright for extended periods, lift/scan/bag items, finger dexterity, reach overhead, extend hands/arms, precision control, stooping, visual acuity
Occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs
Obtain required pharmacist licensure within required timeframe per state guidelines

Nice to have:

Immunization eligibility
3-5 years prior relevant work experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
Patient immunization capability once state regulations are met
