Job Responsibility:

  • Complete a comprehensive training roadmap focusing on Key Learning Experiences (KLEs)
  • Assist the pharmacy team to ensure pharmacy operations run smoothly
  • Fill prescriptions promptly, safely, and accurately
  • Provide caring service that exceeds patient expectations
  • Operate as part of the pharmacy team through consistent application of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Demonstrate empathy and genuine care
  • Contribute to a safe and inclusive culture
  • Follow all company SOPs at each workstation
  • Follow pharmacy workflow procedures at each workstation
  • Contribute to positive patient experiences
  • Offer to counsel and field medical questions
  • Take telephonic prescriptions where allowed by state regulation
  • Maintain self-awareness and provide coaching and mentoring
  • Complete basic inventory activities as directed
  • Contribute to a high-performing team
  • Remain flexible for scheduling and business needs
  • Understand and comply with federal, state, and local laws
  • Deliver additional patient health care services (e.g., immunizations) where allowable

Requirements:

  • Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
  • Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required

Nice to have:

  • 1+ years of related work experience in pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
  • Ability to become immunization certified
  • Ability to work in home store, and across the market in other locations, to meet business needs
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
