Job Responsibility

Assist the pharmacy team to ensure that pharmacy operations run smoothly, patients’ prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately, and provide caring service that exceeds patient expectations
Complete a comprehensive training roadmap focused on Key Learning Experiences
Follow all company SOPs at each workstation
Follow pharmacy workflow procedures at each pharmacy workstation for safe and accurate prescription fulfillment
Contribute to positive patient experiences showing empathy and genuine care
Offer to counsel, field medical questions, and solicit information on patient’s medical history to provide optimal care under direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist
Take telephonic prescriptions from the prescriber and call prescriber to clarify prescriptions or facilitate medication changes where allowed by state regulation
Maintain self-awareness and provide coaching, training, and mentoring to pharmacy team members
Complete basic inventory activities as permitted by law
Contribute to a high-performing team and be receptive to feedback
