Job Description:

As a 3rd year pharmacy intern, you have a significant role working as part of the pharmacy team delivering company purpose, modeling values, and demonstrating genuine care for patients. Under direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist, you play a critical role in ensuring a safe and effective Retail Pharmacy work environment that delivers exceptional care to each patient.

Workflow Management excluding final prescription verification

Requirements:

Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
0-3 years relevant work experience
Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
Strong communication and presentation skills
Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe
Ability to have regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
Ability to be mobile and remain upright for extended periods of time
Ability to lift, scan, and bag items
Finger dexterity for picking, pinching, typing
Ability to reach overhead and extend hands/arms multiple directions
Precision control to adjust machines to exact positions
Ability to stoop and bend spine at waist
Visual acuity for transcribing, computer work, reading, inspection
Ability to orally communicate information
Occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs

Nice to have:

Immunization eligibility
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
Ability to provide patient immunizations once state regulations are met
