Job Description:

As a 3rd year pharmacy intern at CVS Health, you will play a critical role in the retail pharmacy team under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Responsibilities include patient safety, pharmacy professional practice, regulatory requirements, quality assurance, inventory management, and customer service. You will contribute to improving health care and ensuring a safe and effective retail pharmacy environment.

Requirements:

Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
0-3 years relevant work experience
Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
Strong communication and presentation skills
Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe
Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
Be mobile and remain upright for extended periods of time
Lift, scan, and bag items
Picking, pinching, typing or otherwise working primarily with fingers rather than whole hand or arm
Reach overhead
Extend hand(s) and arm(s) multiple directions to place, move, or lift items
Adjust machines to exact positions
Stoop to move items between low and high positions
Visual acuity for activities like transcribing and reading
Strong oral communication skills
Occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs.

Nice to have:

Immunization eligibility
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
Ability to provide patient immunizations once state regulations are met.
