Job Description:

As a 3rd year pharmacy intern at CVS Health, you will play a significant role as part of the pharmacy team in providing safe and effective care under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Responsibilities include ensuring patient safety, regulatory compliance, inventory management, and facilitating a team culture of empathy, energy, and pride. Requirements:

Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
0-3 years relevant work experience
Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
Strong communication and presentation skills
Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe
Ability to have regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
Ability to be mobile and remain upright for extended periods of time
Ability to lift, scan, and bag items
Dexterity, including picking, pinching, typing, or otherwise working primarily with fingers rather than the whole hand or arm
Ability to reach overhead, extend hands or arms to grasp items
Precision control to adjust machines to exact positions
Stoop to a considerable degree, bend spine, and use back muscles to move items
Visual acuity for transcribing, viewing a computer terminal, and visual inspection
Ability to orally communicate information and instructions
Occasional lifting up to 20 lbs
exerting up to 20 lbs of force occasionally, or 10 lbs frequently, or negligible amounts constantly to move objects

Nice to have:

Immunization eligibility
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
Pharmacy interns should provide immunizations as this is an essential pharmacist function (once state regulations are met)
