Pharmacy Intern

• Following all company SOPs to manage and improve patient health
• following pharmacy workflow procedures
• contributing to positive patient experiences
• offering to counsel under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist
• maintaining self-awareness and mentoring pharmacy team members
• completing inventory activities accurately
• providing empathetic and personalized service to patients
• maintaining compliance with relevant federal, state, and local regulations
• delivering patient health care services such as immunizations and point-of-care testing
• supporting immunization processes

• Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
• must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
• ability to complete required training within designated timeframe
• ability to concentrate on a task over a period of time
• ability to pivot quickly from one task to another to meet patient and business needs
• ability to confirm prescription information and label accuracy
• actively look for ways to help people in a friendly manner
• notice and understand patients’ reactions and respond appropriately
• use and understand verbal and written communication
• mathematical reasoning
• problem resolution skills
• ability to be mobile and remain upright for extended periods
• ability to lift occasionally up to 20 lbs
• ability to reach overhead and handle items
• close visual acuity for transcribing and reading
• ability to receive detailed information through oral communication

• 1+ years of related work experience in pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
• ability to become immunization certified
• ability to work in home store and across the market
• proficiency in Microsoft Suite
