Job Description:

As a 3rd-year pharmacy intern at CVS Health, you will play a critical role in ensuring a safe and effective retail pharmacy environment. This involves patient care, safety, inventory and workflow management, and more, under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. You'll contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and empathetic care while working towards CVS Health's mission of improving access, quality, and affordability in healthcare.

Requirements:

Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
0-3 years relevant work experience
must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
strong communication and presentation skills
complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe
ability to have regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
ability to be mobile and remain upright for extended periods of time
ability to lift, scan, and bag items
finger dexterity
ability to reach overhead
precision control
ability to stoop
visual acuity
ability to orally communicate information and instructions to colleagues and customers
ability to lift up to 20 lbs
ability to complete additional tasks as directed
ability to complete all required training and obtain required licensure within state guidelines

Nice to have:

Immunization eligibility
proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
pharmacy interns should strive to provide patient immunizations once state regulations are met
