Graduate Pharmacy Intern position at CVS Health focused on transforming health care for customers. Job Responsibility:
Apply didactic learning from pharmacy school into real-world practice
Complete comprehensive training roadmap within 120 days of graduation
Assist pharmacy team to ensure pharmacy operations run smoothly
Ensure patients' prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately
Provide caring service that exceeds patient expectations
Operate as part of pharmacy team through consistent application of Standard Operating Procedures
Demonstrate empathy and genuine care
Contribute to safe and inclusive culture
Follow all company SOPs at each workstation
Follow pharmacy workflow procedures at each pharmacy workstation
Contribute to positive patient experiences
Offer to counsel, field medical questions, and solicit information on patient's medical history
Take telephonic prescriptions from prescriber
Maintain self-awareness and provide coaching to pharmacy team members
Complete basic inventory activities
Contribute to high-performing team
Remain flexible for scheduling and business needs
Understand and comply with all relevant laws and regulations
Deliver additional patient health care services (immunizations, point-of-care testing)
Requirements:
PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program prior to beginning the Post-Graduate Training Program at CVS Health
Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within the required timeframe, per state guidelines
Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe
