Job Description:

As a 3rd year pharmacy intern at CVS Health, you will work under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist to ensure a safe and effective Retail Pharmacy work environment. You'll improve patient health through activities like patient safety, pharmacy professional practice, regulatory adherence, and customer service. Additionally, you'll demonstrate empathy, facilitate a collaborative team atmosphere, and adopt patient care programs.

Job Responsibility:

Adopt and manage patient care programs
lead with empathy and compassion for patients, customers, caregivers, and colleagues
seek new ways to grow and collaborate with others
align others around the purpose of bringing health to every moment
facilitate team culture promoting energy, enthusiasm, and pride
ensure activities like patient safety, pharmacy professional practice, regulatory requirements, quality assurance, customer service, inventory management, workflow management (excluding final prescription verification)

Requirements:

Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
0-3 years relevant work experience
must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
strong communication and presentation skills
complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe
ability to have regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
ability to be mobile and remain upright for extended periods of time
ability to lift, scan, and bag items
ability to have finger dexterity for tasks like typing or picking
ability to reach overhead
ability to extend hands and arms in multiple directions
ability to have precision control to adjust machines
ability to stoop using lower back muscles
ability to perform close visual activities
ability to orally communicate information and instructions
ability to complete state-required licensure and training

Nice to have:

Immunization eligibility
proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
ability to provide immunizations once state regulations are met
