Job Description:

Challenging opportunity for pharmacy students to learn and grow professionally in a culture of continuous improvement. As a 3rd year pharmacy intern, you'll work under direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to ensure a safe and effective Retail Pharmacy work environment that delivers exceptional care to patients.

Patient Safety
Pharmacy Professional Practice
Regulatory Requirements
Quality Assurance
Customer Service
Inventory Management
Workflow Management excluding final prescription verification
Patient care program adoption and management
Display empathy and compassion for patients and colleagues
Collaborate with team members
Facilitate team culture promoting caring, energy, enthusiasm, and pride

Requirements:

Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
0-3 years relevant work experience
Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
Strong communication and presentation skills
Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe
Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
Physical abilities: mobile and remain upright for extended periods, lift/scan/bag items, finger dexterity, reach overhead, extend hands and arms, precision control, stooping, visual acuity, occasional lifting up to 20 lbs

Nice to have:

Immunization eligibility
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
Ability to provide patient immunizations once state regulations are met
