Job Description:

As a 3rd year pharmacy intern at CVS Health, you play a critical role in ensuring a safe and effective Retail Pharmacy work environment that delivers exceptional care to patients under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. You’ll work on patient safety, inventory management, regulatory requirements, and quality assurance while leading with empathy and facilitating a team culture.

Workflow Management excluding final prescription verification
Lead with Heart – display empathy and compassion for patients, customers, caregivers, and colleagues

Requirements:

Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
0-3 years relevant work experience
Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
Strong communication and presentation skills
Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe
Ability to have regular and predictable attendance including nights and weekends
Ability to be mobile and remain upright for extended periods of time
Ability to lift, scan, and bag items
Ability to perform precision control and visual acuity tasks
Ability to meet physical requirements such as reaching, stooping, and exerting up to 20 lbs. of force occasionally.

Nice to have:

Immunization eligibility
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
