Job Responsibility:

  • Apply didactic learning from pharmacy school into real-world practice
  • Complete a comprehensive training roadmap
  • Assist the pharmacy team to ensure pharmacy operations run smoothly
  • Fill prescriptions promptly, safely, and accurately
  • Provide caring service that exceeds patient expectations
  • Operate as part of the pharmacy team through application of SOPs and effective communication

  • Complete KLEs focusing on building aptitude
  • Take on increasing responsibility for safety and effectiveness of operations

  • Take telephonic prescriptions from prescriber
  • Maintain self-awareness and provide coaching and mentoring
  • Complete basic inventory activities
  • Contribute to a high-performing team
  • Remain flexible for scheduling and business needs
  • Understand and comply with relevant laws and regulations
  • Deliver additional patient health care services
  • Support immunizations including preparing and administering vaccines
  • Educate patients about vaccines
  • Monitor for and respond to adverse reactions
  • Review and collect patient information

Requirements:

  • Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
  • Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required

Nice to have:

  • 1+ years of related work experience in pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
  • Ability to become immunization certified
  • Ability to work in home store, and across the market in other locations, to meet business needs
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
