Job Description:

As a Pharmacy Intern at CVS Health, you will work as part of a pharmacy team under direct pharmacist supervision to deliver exceptional care in a retail setting. Responsibilities include ensuring patient safety, maintaining inventory, managing workflow, and supporting patient care programs.

Job Responsibility:

Lead with Heart – display empathy and compassion for patients, customers, and colleagues
Seek new ways to grow, collaborate, and deliver better outcomes
Promote a culture of continuous improvement and teamwork
Ensure patient safety and meet regulatory requirements
Manage inventory and workflow
Conduct tasks under direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist.

Requirements:

Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
0-3 years relevant work experience
Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
Strong communication and presentation skills
Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe
Ability to have regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
Ability to be mobile and remain upright for extended periods of time
Ability to lift, scan, and bag items
Precision control to adjust machines to exact positions
Stoop to considerable degree
Visual Acuity for close visual inspection
Ability to orally communicate information and instructions
Occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs.

Nice to have:

Immunization eligibility
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
Capability to provide patient immunizations once state regulations are met.
