Job Description:

As a 3rd year pharmacy intern at CVS Health, you play a critical role under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist, ensuring a safe and effective Retail Pharmacy environment. This includes patient safety, pharmacy professional practice, regulatory requirements, quality assurance, customer service, inventory management, and workflow management excluding final prescription verification. The role emphasizes continuous learning, improvement, and delivering exceptional care to patients.

Requirements:

Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
0-3 years relevant work experience
Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
Strong communication and presentation skills
Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe
Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
Mobility and ability to remain upright for extended periods of time
Ability to lift, scan, and bag items
Finger dexterity
Overhead reach
Hand and arm extension
Precision control
Ability to stoop and fully use lower extremities and back muscles
Visual acuity for close inspection and transcribing
Oral communication skills
Occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs.
Exerting up to 20 lbs. of force occasionally and/or up to 10 lbs. of force frequently and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.
