Job Description:

As a pharmacy intern, you will work under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist, ensuring a safe and effective workplace and providing care to patients. You will help manage programs, support the pharmacy team, and apply acquired knowledge to improve healthcare outcomes.

Job Responsibility:

Ensure a safe and effective Retail Pharmacy work environment
Deliver exceptional care to patients
Lead patient care programs to keep customers healthy
Support and develop Pharmacy Support Staff
Identify critical business opportunities and implement solutions to drive performance

Collaborate with others to deliver better outcomes

Apply knowledge to drive healthy outcomes and differentiate CVS from competitors

Requirements:

PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program prior to beginning Post-Graduate Training Program at CVS Health
0-3 years prior relevant work experience
Must possess or be in process of obtaining a valid Pharmacist intern and/or technician licensure as required by state BOP
Strong verbal, non-verbal and written communication skills
Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe
Ability to have regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
Ability to be mobile and remain upright for extended periods of time
Ability to lift, scan, and bag items
Ability to perform fine motor tasks such as picking, pinching, typing
Ability to reach overhead and stoop
Close visual acuity for inspection and reading
Ability to orally communicate instructions and interact with customers
Ability to lift up to 20 lbs occasionally

Nice to have:

Immunization eligibility
3-5 years prior relevant work experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Experience providing patient immunizations
