Job Description:

As a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern at CVS Health, you will apply your pharmacy school learning into real-world practice, gaining hands-on experience and contributing to a safe and inclusive culture focused on improving patient health.

Job Responsibility:

Living our purpose by following SOPs
Ensuring safe and accurate prescription fulfillment
Creating positive patient experiences
Offering to counsel and addressing patient questions under supervision
Completing basic inventory activities
Contributing to a high-performing team
Voluntarily traveling across stores to meet business needs
Complying with federal, state, and local regulations
Delivering additional patient health care services.

Requirements:

Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe
Attention and focus: ability to concentrate on a task over a period of time
Customer service and team orientation: actively look for ways to help people, and do so in a friendly manner
Communication skills: use and understand verbal and written communication to interact with patients and colleagues
Mathematical reasoning: ability to use math to solve a problem
Problem resolution: identifying challenging patient or colleague interactions and choosing the best course of action
Physical demands: remain upright for extended periods
lift and move items
visually inspect with close acuity
express ideas accurately through spoken words.

Nice to have:

1+ years of related work experience in pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
Ability to become immunization certified
Ability to work in home store and across the market
Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
