Job Description:

This position offers 3rd year Pharmacy Interns the opportunity to apply didactic learning in real-world practice and prepare for a Pharmacist role. Interns will contribute through training, patient care, and operational support while developing leadership and technical skills.

Job Responsibility:

Living our purpose by following all company SOPs to help manage and improve patient health
following pharmacy workflow procedures for safe and accurate prescription fulfillment
contributing to positive patient experiences
offering to counsel and clarifying prescriptions under supervision
maintaining inventory and accurately processing deliveries
providing coaching, training, and mentoring to pharmacy team members
adhering to federal, state, and local laws and company policies
delivering additional patient health care services such as immunizations and testing.

Requirements:

Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
ability to complete required training within designated timeframe
ability to confirm prescription information and label accuracy
actively look for ways to help people and do so in a friendly manner
communicate effectively with patients and colleagues
ability to use math to solve pharmacy-related problems
attention to detail and ability to handle challenging interactions
adherence to federal, state, and local laws and regulations.

Nice to have:

1+ years of related work experience in pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
ability to become immunization certified
ability to work in home store and across the market
proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
