Job Description:

As a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern at CVS Health, you will apply your pharmacy school learning to real-world practice, preparing for your future role as a pharmacist. You'll actively contribute to pharmacy operations, mentor other team members, and engage in patient care activities such as immunizations and personalized healthcare solutions, all while gaining valuable hands-on experience.

Job Responsibility:

Living our purpose by following all company SOPs at each workstation
Following pharmacy workflow procedures for safe and accurate prescription fulfillment
Contributing to positive patient experiences by showing empathy and genuine care
Offering to counsel, fielding medical questions, and soliciting information on a patient's medical history under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist
Maintaining the highest level of self-awareness and mentoring pharmacy team members
Completing basic inventory activities such as medication deliveries, cycle counts, and returns-to-stocks
Supporting immunizations by completing requirements to obtain Technician Immunizer status
Educating patients about vaccines and tracking patient information

Requirements:

Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe
Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends

Nice to have:

1+ years of related work experience in pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
Ability to become immunization certified
Ability to work in home store, and across the market in other locations, to meet business needs
Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
