Job Description:

As a 3rd-year pharmacy intern, you have the opportunity to work as part of a pharmacy team delivering the company's purpose, modeling values, and demonstrating care for patients. Responsibilities include patient care programs, promoting safety, and fulfilling pharmacy operations tasks under supervision.

Patient safety
Pharmacy professional practice
Regulatory requirements

Inventory management
Workflow management excluding final prescription verification
Keeping customers and patients healthy
Adoption and management of patient care programs
Lead with heart displaying empathy and compassion
Seek new ways to grow and collaborate
Facilitate team culture of caring and enthusiasm

Requirements:

Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
0-3 years relevant work experience
Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
Strong communication and presentation skills
Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe
Ability to have regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
Ability to be mobile and remain upright for extended periods of time
Ability to lift, scan, and bag items
Finger dexterity
Ability to reach overhead, stretch or reach out with body, arms, and/or legs to grasp items
Ability to extend hand(s) and arm(s) to place, move, or lift items
Precision control
Ability to stoop to a considerable degree
Close visual acuity
Ability to orally communicate information
Occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs.

Nice to have:

Immunization eligibility
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
Ability to provide patient immunizations
Completion of state-required regulations
