Job Responsibility:

  • Complete a comprehensive training roadmap to become ready for a Pharmacist role
  • Assist the pharmacy team to ensure pharmacy operations run smoothly, prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately, and patient expectations are exceeded
  • Learn to operate as part of the pharmacy team through application of SOPs, best practices, and effective communication
  • Contribute to a safe and inclusive culture
  • Follow all company SOPs at each workstation
  • Follow pharmacy workflow procedures at each pharmacy workstation for safe and accurate prescription fulfillment
  • Contribute to positive patient experiences showing empathy and genuine care
  • Offer to counsel, field medical questions, and solicit patient medical history to provide optimal care
  • Take telephonic prescriptions from the prescriber
  • Maintain self-awareness and provide coaching, training, and mentoring to pharmacy team members
  • Complete basic inventory activities
  • Contribute to a high-performing team
  • Remain flexible for scheduling and business needs
  • Understand and comply with all relevant laws, regulations, professional standards, and ethical principles
  • Deliver additional patient health care services where allowable by law
  • Support immunizations where permissible

Requirements:

  • Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
  • Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required

Nice to have:

  • 1+ years of related work experience in pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
  • Ability to become immunization certified
  • Ability to work in home store, and across the market in other locations, to meet business needs
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
