Job Responsibility:
Complete a comprehensive training roadmap to become ready for a Pharmacist role
Assist the pharmacy team to ensure pharmacy operations run smoothly, prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately, and patient expectations are exceeded
Learn to operate as part of the pharmacy team through application of SOPs, best practices, and effective communication
Contribute to a safe and inclusive culture
Follow all company SOPs at each workstation
Follow pharmacy workflow procedures at each pharmacy workstation for safe and accurate prescription fulfillment
Contribute to positive patient experiences showing empathy and genuine care
Offer to counsel, field medical questions, and solicit patient medical history to provide optimal care
Take telephonic prescriptions from the prescriber
Maintain self-awareness and provide coaching, training, and mentoring to pharmacy team members
Complete basic inventory activities
Contribute to a high-performing team
Remain flexible for scheduling and business needs
Understand and comply with all relevant laws, regulations, professional standards, and ethical principles
Deliver additional patient health care services where allowable by law
Support immunizations where permissible
Requirements:
Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
Nice to have:
1+ years of related work experience in pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
Ability to become immunization certified
Ability to work in home store, and across the market in other locations, to meet business needs
Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
