Job Description:

As a 3rd year pharmacy intern, under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist, you will play a critical role in ensuring a safe and effective Retail Pharmacy environment, deliver exceptional care to patients, and contribute to improving health care.

Job Responsibility:

Lead with heart—display empathy and compassion for patients, customers, caregivers, and colleagues

facilitate a team culture that promotes caring, energy, enthusiasm, and pride
adoption and management of patient care programs

Requirements:

Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
0-3 years relevant work experience
must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
strong communication and presentation skills
complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe
regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
ability to be mobile and remain upright for extended periods of time
lift, scan, and bag items
finger dexterity
reach overhead
extend hand(s) and arm(s) to place, move, or lift items
precision control
stoop to a considerable degree
close visual acuity
orally communicate information and instructions to colleagues and customers
occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs
exerting up to 20 lbs. of force occasionally and/or up to 10 lbs. of force frequently
complete additional tasks as directed by supervisor or manager
complete all required training and obtain required licensure (if applicable) within state guidelines

Nice to have:

Immunization eligibility
proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
