Job Description:

As a 3rd year pharmacy intern at CVS Health, you will have a significant role working as part of the pharmacy team, helping to deliver exceptional care to patients. This includes responsibilities in patient safety, regulatory compliance, quality assurance, customer service, and inventory management. Under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist, interns are expected to model the company's values and goals, while gaining real-world experience in health care.

Job Responsibility:

Manage inventory
Manage workflow excluding final prescription verification

Requirements:

Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
0-3 years relevant work experience
Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
Strong communication and presentation skills
Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe
Ability to have regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
Ability to be mobile and remain upright for extended periods of time
Ability to lift, scan, and bag items
Finger dexterity for tasks like picking, pinching, typing
Ability to reach overhead and stretch or reach out with arms and legs
Precision control for adjusting machines to exact positions
Ability to stoop and use back muscles to move items
Visual acuity for activities like reading and computer tasks
Ability to orally communicate information and instructions
Occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs
Complete any additional tasks as directed by supervisor or manager
Complete all required training and obtain required licensure within state guidelines

Nice to have:

Immunization eligibility
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
Once state regulations are met, ability to provide patient immunizations
