Job Description:

As a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern, you will work closely with pharmacy teams to gain practical experience in preparation for a pharmacist role. Responsibilities include following standard operating procedures, supporting prescription fulfillment, and providing exceptional patient care and services, including immunizations where permitted.

Job Responsibility:

Following all company SOPs at each workstation to help manage and improve patient health
Ensuring safe and accurate prescription fulfillment
Creating positive patient experiences with empathy and genuine care
Assisting with telephonic prescriptions, clarifications, and medication changes as permitted
Supporting inventory activities, including medication deliveries
Delivering additional patient health care services, such as immunizations, where lawful and trained to do so.

Requirements:

Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Nice to have:

1+ years of related work experience in pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
Ability to become immunization certified
Ability to work in home store, and across the market in other locations
Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
