Our 3rd year Pharmacy Interns play a critical role in supporting our pharmacy teams to consistently deliver on our brand promise, while developing their own skills in preparation for increasing responsibility.

Job Responsibility:

  • Completion of a comprehensive training roadmap focusing on Key Learning Experiences
  • Follow all company SOPs at each workstation
  • Follow pharmacy workflow procedures at each pharmacy workstation
  • Contribute to positive patient experiences showing empathy and genuine care
  • Offer to counsel, field medical questions, and solicit information on patient medical history
  • Take telephonic prescriptions from prescriber and call to clarify prescriptions or facilitate medication changes
  • Maintain self-awareness and provide coaching, training, and mentoring to pharmacy team members
  • Complete basic inventory activities
  • Contribute to a high-performing team
  • Remain flexible for scheduling and business needs
  • Understand and comply with all relevant laws and regulations
  • Deliver additional patient health care services (e.g., immunizations, point-of-care testing) where allowable
  • Support immunizations including completing licensure and training, educating patients, monitoring for adverse reactions, reviewing patient information

Requirements:

  • Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
  • Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
