Job Description:

As a 3rd year pharmacy intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist and ensure a safe and effective Retail Pharmacy work environment. Responsibilities include patient safety, quality assurance, inventory and workflow management, and providing exceptional care to patients.

Requirements:

Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
0-3 years relevant work experience
Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
Strong communication and presentation skills
Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe
Ability to have regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
Ability to be mobile and remain upright for extended periods of time
Ability to lift, scan, and bag items
Finger Dexterity to work primarily with fingers
Reach overhead, stretch, or reach out with the body, arms, and/or legs to grasp items
Ability to extend hand(s) and arm(s) multiple directions
Precision control to adjust machines to exact positions
Stoop to a considerable degree
Visual Acuity for close visual inspection
Oral communication skills
Occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs.

Nice to have:

Immunization eligibility
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
Ability to provide patient immunizations once state regulations are met.
