Job Description:

As a 3rd year pharmacy intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to ensure a safe and effective retail pharmacy work environment, delivering exceptional patient care and fulfilling responsibilities such as inventory and workflow management, quality assurance, and customer service.

Requirements:

Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
0-3 years relevant work experience
Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
Strong communication and presentation skills
Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe
Ability to have regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
Ability to be mobile and remain upright for extended periods of time
Ability to lift, scan, and bag items
Ability to perform tasks requiring finger dexterity
Ability to reach overhead
Ability to extend hand(s) and arm(s) multiple directions
Ability to perform precision control tasks
Ability to stoop and move items between low and high positions
Ability to maintain visual acuity
Ability to orally communicate information and instructions
Occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs
Exerting up to 20 lbs. of force occasionally and/or up to 10 lbs. of force frequently.

Nice to have:

Immunization eligibility
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
Providing patient immunizations once state regulations are met.
