Job Description:

As a Graduate Pharmacy Intern at CVS Health, you will apply your didactic learning from pharmacy school into real-world practice to become ready for a Pharmacist role. You will complete a comprehensive training roadmap within 120 days of graduation, assist the pharmacy team in ensuring smooth operations, and deliver compassionate care to patients. The role involves following pharmacy workflow procedures, offering counseling under supervision, and complying with all relevant laws and regulations.

Job Responsibility:

Apply didactic learning from pharmacy school into real-world practice
Complete a comprehensive training roadmap within 120 days of graduation
Assist the pharmacy team to ensure smooth operations
Demonstrate empathy and genuine care in customer interactions
Follow pharmacy workflow procedures for safe and accurate prescription fulfillment
Offer to counsel and field medical questions under supervision
Maintain self-awareness and provide coaching to team members
Complete basic inventory activities as directed
Contribute to a high-performing team and embrace feedback
Understand and comply with all relevant laws and regulations
Deliver additional patient health care services where allowable by law

Requirements:

PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program prior to beginning the Post-Graduate Training Program at CVS Health
Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within the required timeframe, per state guidelines
Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required

Nice to have:

1+ years of related work experience in pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
Ability to become immunization certified
Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
