Job Description:

The 2nd Shift Pharmacy Equipment Operator will operate several different pieces of powered equipment, including double pallet walkies, reach trucks, and chase trucks. Responsibilities include supplementing primary equipment operators and assisting other areas in the warehouse. The candidate will be expected to switch between various types of equipment across the shift and work at heights while following strict safety protocols. A 'Safety First' mentality is required.

Job Responsibility:

Operate several different pieces of powered equipment, including double pallet walkies, reach trucks, chase trucks (cherry/order pickers)
Supplement primary equipment operator and help other areas in the warehouse
Operate PIT while harnessed to the truck at significant heights and smaller areas
Switch between several different pieces of equipment throughout the shift.

Requirements:

Must be at least 18 years of age
Ability to read, write, and count accurately
Ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and professionally
Ability to work overtime as business needs require
Maintain clean work area
Ability to demonstrate strong attention to detail
Normal eyesight (natural or corrected)
Ability to obtain several certifications for different pieces of equipment
Must demonstrate a strong 'Safety First' mentality and follow all safety protocols
Ability to meet all physical requirements: Lift boxes/pallets throughout the night regularly, up to and including approximately 50lbs, Stand for long periods of time, Reach/bend frequently.

Nice to have:

Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS)
Experience using scanner (RF) equipment to complete tasks
Familiarity with OSHA requirements
Ability to communicate with several members of the team and leadership via radio (walkie talkie) to complete tasks that are required
Comfortable with heights.
