Job Description:

Join a GP surgery team in Norwich as a Pharmacy Dispenser to support essential healthcare delivery. The role involves dispensing prescriptions, collaborating with GPs and pharmacists, advising patients, managing stock control, handling administrative tasks, and providing excellent customer service. Flexible hours and ongoing opportunities are available.

Job Responsibility:

  • dispense prescriptions accurately and efficiently
  • work closely with GPs and pharmacists to support the repeat prescription process
  • advise patients on medication use in line with NHS guidance
  • ensure stock control and maintain a well-organised dispensary
  • assist in administrative tasks such as labelling, ordering, and record-keeping
  • deliver excellent customer service to patients, maintaining professionalism and confidentiality

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Services preferred but not essential
  • previous dispensing experience in a GP surgery, community pharmacy, or similar setting
  • strong communication and attention to detail
  • ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team
