We are looking for a dedicated Pharmacy Care Technician to join our team on a contract basis. In this role, you will work in a call center environment, engaging members through outbound calls to support medication adherence and address quality gaps. You will collaborate with healthcare providers and pharmacies to ensure timely access to medications and contribute to various performance improvement initiatives within the health insurance industry.
Job Responsibility:
Conduct outbound calls to members to discuss medication adherence and close quality gaps
Engage with members to identify barriers to medication access and propose tailored solutions
Coordinate care with prescribers, provider offices, and pharmacies to address medication needs and resolve refill issues
Accurately document member interactions, outreach attempts, and resolutions in designated systems
Review medication profiles to identify opportunities for improving adherence and addressing care gaps
Support initiatives related to quality metrics such as Medication Adherence and Statin Therapy
Process refill requests, assist with prior authorization communications, and resolve medication access concerns
Monitor and follow up on unresolved issues to ensure timely resolution
Collaborate with clinicians, outreach coordinators, and team members to achieve Population Health goals
Maintain productivity and quality standards in compliance with regulatory requirements and department benchmarks
Requirements:
Active Pharmacy Technician license in the state of residence
Minimum of one year of remote work experience, demonstrating strong organizational and self-direction skills
Ability to work 8a-430p PST
Proficiency in navigating multiple systems, databases, and applications simultaneously
Intermediate-level skills in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
Ability to work effectively in a call center environment with set schedules
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage members and coordinate care
Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and compliance standards
Time management and prioritization skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
